I believe that safe and connected relationships are the vehicle by which change & healing are possible. This encompasses the therapeutic relationship.
I practice primarily out of a psychodynamic framework; simply put, I seek to explore how the past informs/influences the present.
I appreciate humor and believe laughter (& tears) can be effective in resetting one’s nervous system.
As a psychotherapist, I value reflection over advice. My goal is for each person to recognize and trust their own voice.
I view therapy as a dress rehearsal for how a person desires to relate with and move through the world.
I apply a culturally sensitive, attachment-based, neurodiversity affirming lens in my work with clients.
